➳ Where was home for you growing up? and where did Ibiza fit in?

I’m originally from West Yorkshire (UK), but have been travelling to the White Isle since the age of five with my parents, so my love affair with the island started from a young age. I introduced my husband  to the Island in 2004 when we got married here; a ceremony in San Augustin church with celebrations at a little hotel in Cala Carbo. Luckily he shared my passion for the Island. We moved  the following year and we haven’t looked back since.

➳  How do you balance being a working mum on the Island?

Having domestic help and an amazing hands-on husband really helps me.
Luckily my job as a wedding planner means I can be extremely  flexible with my work schedule, and can choose to work around my children’s routines.

➳ Most Special part of motherhood for you?

Watching my kids grow up and the overpowering love you have for them. They also have the ability to bring out my inner child  whether it is jumping on the trampoline or bombing into the pool with them.

➳  Any fun traditions you share with your children?

Every Saturday without fail we make American pancakes with the kids.

➳  Any health & Beauty tips you swear by?

Getting plenty of sleep when possible, a good facial oil, I drink lots of green smoothies & water. I’m obsessed with coconut oil and use it everywhere but aside from that I just believe in giving your body the right fuel and some exercise.

➳  Favourite go to spot on the island

➳ As a family?

We love hanging out at the beach one of our favourites being a little spot in the north of the island Pou des Lleo it’s super, chilled even in the height of summer with a great little chiringuito.

➳  With your husband?

We probably don’t go out alone as often as we should but when we do we like to head to bar 1805  in Ibiza town for “mussels & fries” or for a real treat we love checking into The Giri Residence, a stunning boutique hotel located in the centre of San Juan village for a few nights away.

➳  With your girlfriends?

I love to catch up with my girlfriends over brunch at The Atzaro Spa.

➳ Most memorable holiday destinations with your kids? & what’s on your travel wish list?

I’m obsessed with south East Asia, especially Thailand; we spent six weeks there last summer I adore the people, the food the hospitality. We’re are also heading back to Bali this summer for three months.

I would love to attend an Ashram in India and our family wish list is to visit Costa Rica,  Japan, South Africa & Copenhagen, (which is already booked up).

 ➳ Most inspiring read?

I have recently just finished “All The Light We Cannot See” by Anthony Doerr. It was an inspiring read showing strength of human spirit. I also really enjoyed DVF autobiography

➳ Best part of being your own girl boss?

Being able to pick & choose my own hours, not having to work a traditional 9 to 5 and the ability to make my work fit around my lifestyle. And of course the financial rewards of working hard and keeping what you earn. I also genuinely love weddings as well as preparing the house for rental every summer and welcoming people into our home. To do what I love and enjoy doing is a real blessing.

➳  Best Part of living on the Island for you?

The weather, the open minded lifestyle and freedom that you can offer your children growing up here and the variety of different people that live here & come to visit us. Having the kids growing up tri lingual is also very special. The locally grown produce (and the fish!) that we have on offer here is amazing, and of course our incredible sunsets. Ibiza has such a variety of things to do whether thats chilling out at a great beach club, walking round the Old Town, partying at one of the best clubs in the world or exploring the beautiful countryside and coastlines we have here.
